Housing assignments are in!

Mine’s 210 square feet, but it’s a triple.

@baaitsbilly 541 regan hall circle as well. what program did u get in under?

Mine’s 127.44 sq. ft. It’s much smaller than yours, helpmepleasee. :C

Potter, first floor! I asked for a double because I was going to room with my friend but got a triple anyways. Oh well, at least it’s near my classes.

I’m in Webster Hall @ Cuarto! 303!!

@ neverneverland: awesome, another person in Webster! I’m in 102. I have no idea if that’s on the 1st or 2nd floor.

@soprano: It should be the first floor.

@neverneverland holy ****. webster 303… i used to go there at least 3 times a week.

does anyone feel like a lot of people got triples and suites than doubles? Or is it cause we’re hearing from a lot of people dissatisfied with their room assignment :o

Do you think they made doubles in tercero and such into triples?

I’m in a suite since I’m a transfer.

I’m in Webster as well, 3rd floor. (transfer)

Question, do our rooms not include mattresses? I did a search on the housing website and an FAQ I read said “no.”

I’ll call housing about this.

But do they or not?

rooms include mattresses. and judging from people being dissatisfied with their housing, ucd probably admitted more freshmen than they have room for. probably a money thing. weird, considering they built potter and a bunch of other new tercero buildings recently.

it’s also weird for the fact that last year students didn’t complain as much and all segundo highrisers were under construction. :o weird.

Except for maybe 1 person, I don’t see anyone else complaining about their room assignment. I’m not counting posts before #87 because they’re from last year’s.

Wohoo, I’m in South Tercero, Kearney, tripled.

I got a question for any UCD students who lived there.
My room description thingy says that my room only has 2 wardrobes. But we have 3 people living in there. What do we do about the wardrobe? Do we have to just deal and share, or is there somewhere the 3rd person can use?

i haven’t lived in kearney, but my guess would be that the room is normally a double so the room description defaults to that. if it’s really a triple they will probably have another wardrobe in the room

Yeah the description for Laben says that triples have two wardrobes, but I was in a Laben triple for orientation and it had 3 wardrobes. Everyone else I’ve asked said their triples in Laben/Kearney had three wardrobes. Not sure what that’s about.

Oh, kinda putting my hopes up now  Really hope there’s 3 wardrobes!!! Anyone else hear anything about this, especially from someone who’s lived there in the previous years?

The double in segundo is pictured: http://www.housing.ucdavis.edu/__images/maps/3D_segundo_bgmr_double.jpg

but are all rooms have bunk beds? How big is the room? It seems so small since it has bunk bed set up. Can you move it around and still have lots of room in the room?

you can move the beds. and there was sufficient room when i would visit those dorms 2 years ago so i assume after the remodeling or whatever they did they should have the same amount if not more.
what a lot of people did when they didn’t like bunk beds was to elevate both beds as high as a top bunk and then put the desk or other stuff under.
