Housing assignments are up!

i got Ryerson, Segundo with the roommate of my choice.
i don't know if the building is better than others.

I lived in Ryerson and loved it! It's pretty much exactly similar to Malcolm, Bixby and Gilmore. The main lounge is GREAT (flat screen TV and awesome piano). I much preferred it over Segundo North, in which I lived there for a month in the summer. Each floor has a laundry room with one washer and one dryer and also a kitchenette. You really don't know how convenient it is to have a kitchen on every floor until your friends complain that they have to go to other floors/buildings just to wash their dishes/cook their meals! =)

Do all floors(or buildings) have washers/dryers?

all buildings have washers and dryers. some have them on every floor.

thanks. do you know approximately how many they have?

what building are you in? I know that the Segundo high rises have 1 washer and 1 dryer per floor and if you go to the left of the Junction (Retail Convenience Store) there are a **** load of washers and dryers that are apparently for the maids but are available for students.

I'm in Tercero. Do students have to pay for them?

All dorm buildings will have a washer & dryer. Most buildings only have them on the first floor, so it's kind of a hassle taking your laundry down the stairs / elevator (if there is one). The same goes with the kitchens.

Laundry costs $1 to wash and .75 to dry. You will be given one of these cards upon check-in:

They are easily refillable by cash ($5, $10, $20) or credit/debit ($10+) near the area service desk in your location.
