Soooo housing assignments are supposed to come out today via email, and I wanted to make a thread so that incoming students can comment which building they got placed in, and to see if there are others who also got placed there here on cc too. But please, don’t post your roommate’s name that would be SUCH a bad idea, just don’t do it! Thanks!
I’m not sure what time they’re supposed to come out, but my fingers are crossed that I’ll be in my top choice!

I got mine actually, Shepard Hall! Top floor sadly but it has brand new renovations throughout so it’s well worth it.

I got an email at 6:14 but it was online about an hour earlier… I read on Twitter that they’re slowly rolling out so I’m sure you’ll get yours soon! Good luck!

Got a single in Willard rc
D got a single in Elder. Was not one of her top 5 picks - wanted to be on South Campus near Bienen, and had asked to room with a girl she met (who ALSO was assigned a single in Elder!!).
Anyone know how likely it might be to swap with someone on South Campus for the single in Elder, or is this not possible?
I got my notification email at 7:04, but I still don’t have access to the housing assignment page online (anybody else?). Anyway, I’m in Hobart, which was my first choice 
songbirdmama - Yes, you can send an email and ask for a reassignment. Or at least you could 4 years ago when my son the engineer got assigned to a South campus res college - and he emailed and asked for North Campus. Good thing he did - he met his GF and most of his best friends are from the North campus Res College he wound up at. Good Luck!
It’s a mile between Elder and Bienen, which seems a pretty challenging walk in winter. Do the campus busses run efficiently (in case she can’t switch)?
My email says “To request a room or roommate change, please go to https://rms.resservices.northwestern.edu and click on Waiting List. You may access and submit your request there. Housing will review the waiting list at the end of July.” In regards to switching rooms. I think it would be wise to do that, as I’m sure campus shuttles can be unreliable like any form of public transit. Also in response to @ThatPeprika, the same thing happened to me. The page still won’t let me access it.
Got PARC (my first choice) on the Second floor.
Anyone out there hear anything from the housing wait list? My D is still waiting to hear if she can change from her single in Elder (She did not get any of her top 5 choices, or her preferred roommate!)
