<p>If there's room available in other dorms, then yes, it's possible. FYI, your hall preferences (your choices) are towards the bottom of their selection factors. I got my 4th choice last year, but it turned out to be great. Hopefully, you'll be able to get into the dorm of your choice.</p>

<p>What were your four preferences? I have a feeling I won't be getting into my top choice, McMahon. At orientation, it seemed like EVERYONE said they had McMahon as their first. So did they send you your roommate's info as well???</p>

I've only heard **** about Mercer how it's ugly and that it's the least social.</p>

<p>Ilendil, when you applied did you select a theme preference (i.e. engineering, honors, first year experience)? They take that into consideration before your housing preferences so putting "first year experience" probably would've helped with Lander.</p>

<p>I am an exchange student coming over from Australia, but have to firstly get my application approved by UW. This will mean that I probably won't get my UW ID for quite some time, which will make applying for a room difficult.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if any rooms are saved for exchange students, or if there is some sort of special registration process I need to go through?</p>

<p>i got into Terry as well, which was my second choice after Lander. not bad, and im not in a triple so im perfectly happy with what i've got.</p>
