<p>Can someone tell me either what the prices for the different types of housing is or where I can find this? I really need to stay in a low-cost housing situation, and I haven't found it on the McGill website. Thanks so much!!</p>

<p>do a search in the mcgill forum for ‘posts’ that discuss residences, use the names of them to find a discussion. i know i have covered this several times and explained the differences and benefits of each, but i forgot where so be a bit proactive</p>

<p>remember, A, B, C, and D are upon the side of the mountain
id’ say the walking distance between say F and H is under five minutes, just to give you some perspective. and likewise F to P would be about 5 or 7 minutes.
central campus is that fork in the road that is north of the “roddick gates” off of sherbrooke and mcgill college</p>

<p>Take the latter one with a grain of salt because students only live in the residences for one year, which means the kind of people you meet at rez will vary from year to year. It’s still an interesting thread to read, though. </p>

<p>I’m an International Student, and I really want my own room and also a private bathroom. I was leaning toward C4 but the Single rooms apparently don’t show up as an option. :confused: </p>

<p>Does anyone know anything about La Citadell ? </p>

<p>Also, about Greenbrair Apartments? Doesn’t it get real annoying cooking all the time ?
Can you “subscribe” to the regualar meal plans ? </p>

<p>Also this is propbably the first time I’m going to be exposed to harsh winters, so something close would be most fitting, I supposse, still HELP HELP HELP PLEASE :frowning: </p>

<p>In La Citadelle & New Residence you’ll get single rooms with a bathroom. And, in La Citadille you’ll have your own tv as well. u can get more info here

<p>Greenbrair is a good option as well. But, you may end up ordering food a lot if you dont like cooking thrice a day. But, you can still subscribe to McGill’s Voluntary Meal Plans, which is a pretty good bargain

<p>If you’re looking for something close to your classes then ‘University Hall and Pres Rez’ should be the closest</p>

<p>Can someone help me for the ranking?</p>

<p>It would be nice to have a single room but it is not a must have. And I would either prefer something close to McGill or in a cool area with bars and restaurants.</p>

<p>Hey all, </p>

<p>how long does it take for the housing status options to show on minerva for me? I got accepted friday evening and it hasn’t come up yet… It sais that the housing status should appear 24 hours after you get accepted. Should I wait till Monday evening after the weekend? </p>

<p>I’m pretty sure I chose that I was interested in residency on the initial application; is there any way I can check to make sure that I selected “yes” for residence? </p>

<p>okay, :slight_smile: so the housing choices showed up, but I was wondering whether two students could personally request from McGill to room with each other like in some U.S universities, anyone know if that’s possible? thankss</p>
