I am currently doing the application and was wondering the difference between the separate places in the halls. Super confused. Could someone please explain the following:
Under NEW-
Elizabeth Von Kleinsmid Res. Hall (New)
or
College Residence Hall (New)

Under NORTH-
Harris Residence Hall (North)
or
University Residence Hall (North)

Now, I was just there from Sunday-Tuesday (Yesterday, March 6th), and was at EVK Dining Hall along with walking by Birnkrant and what I thought to be New and North, but these options have just confused me. Both NEW and NORTH have the two different names/options, so could someone please explain the difference/tell me which is better (By better, I mean the floors/parts that are the normal dorm floor or whatever lol so confused)
Please help!

any choice will be about the same from the four different options of New/North. New/North are pretty much idential and there are two halls for each building. just go to housing.usc.edu and look at the campus housing map to see which hall is where. basically, you'll have the same experience no matter which one you choose.

I was confused too, but the one thing I noticed is that DBL rooms and DBL+SINK rooms, and other things like that, are in different Halls. So there really is only one choice for double w/o sink in New and one in North.

New and North are attached and it is difficult to know where one starts and the other ends. Brother lived in North and he said they are the same- one is not better than the other: they are basically all as one. EVK and COL are just different parts of New and North but, again, are basically all the same. I already mailed my housing app- order of choices:
NEW dbl w/sink
NRC dbl w/sink
NEW dbl
NRC dbl

The sink is VERY nice to have but it is more money. Also, rooms with sinks are a little bit longer so the beds can be turned lengthwise to give more room in the middle.
