Housing (Bennet or 200 Church)

I'm committed to Wesleyan but I'm somewhat concerned about housing. I don't want to regret choosing the wrong housing. Anyways, I'm mostly torn between 200 Church and Bennet (Fauver?). I want a close knit community but I also want to branch out. I heard that people in 200 Church isolate themselves, but I also feel like "isolate" is a bit of an extreme taken by those not in the 200 Church community. Also, Bennet seems tempting and was always my first choice because the dorms are really nice, I wanted to be with other freshmen, plus the acs were actually on during wesfest.
Could someone help me out? Any extra info about either one?

Housing rules change somewhat from year to year, so it may be different againt this year: but for the most part a frosh cannot choose his/her dorm – it is assigned. There are a few exceptions: last year a frosh could ask to be placed in 200 Church, or on the writing floor (Clark) or maybe Westco… I believe everything else is luck of the draw (and you may not get it even if you ask). Others will have to comment as to what Church is like and whether you should ask for it because I have no insights there. I can say that you really can’t get a bad draw. Butterfields (The Butt’s) used to be considered less desirable, but they were recently renovated and there are so many frosh over there I understand that it is a great community and lots of students now fight over the room blocks (mostly singles) they offer at the Butts to groups of sophomores.

Oh yeah well I wouldn’t mind Clark either I just don’t even know if I want all frosh or not. But thanks so much for the input. Anyone have any further info about 200 Church?
