So far I think my top choices are hillside then village but now I want a good third choice and I heard skyline is nice but too far from campus and tree houses are awful. I heard bluestone is nice but the rooms are really small and I've heard a lot of bad things about lakeside but then I've heard they party a lot there and it's fun so I'm really torn. Also more information on hillside and village would be nice.

Bluestone > Lakeside
I live in Bluestone this year, and I’ve visited Lakeside numerous times.
Bluestone has A/C, wifi, and is central to a majority your classes come freshman year. All of the dorm rooms are relatively the same size; it just depends on how you decide to lay out your space.

My roommate and I set our beds to the highest level (you’ll see what I mean when you get here) and then put it on 7" risers, so we could put our dressers underneath. Others chose to loft their beds so they could have both their dresser and their desk underneath.

You’re most likely to go to parties outside of your dorm than you are to drink in your dorm. Reason being is that you’re more likely going to get caught by an RA and deal with a whole bunch of legal and administrative issues if that happens. And every dorm is a “party dorm”, haha.

Also, my dorm in Bluestone, Hoffman Hall, has suite-style bathrooms rather than communal bathrooms. What that means is that the bathroom is in between two rooms and that I share it with the two people next door. I know some people have rooms at the end of the hallways and have their own bathroom.

Anyway, because of the bathroom, my room is “slightly” smaller, but having my own bathroom is nice.

You can’t tour Bluestone dorms ever, but I’m sitting in my bed and I just took a really 2 fast panorama shots. My room also has a small “hallway” where my closet is built into a wall, whereas some dorms have it free standing and take up room space.
