Housing, but unsure if i'll go?

I got accepted a few months ago and got the application contract booklet a few weeks back. I'm still undecided; I'm waiting on my favorites that I'm more likely to get accepted to.

So, should I apply for housing or wait? If yes, what are some things I should watch out for?

It is only $25 to reserve a spot and I think the best dorms are on a first come first serve basis.

Chiburger…you can look back through some of the earlier threads, as there are several that discuss pros/cons of the various dorms. It depends on what type of experience you’re looking for (i.e. generally more quiet, generally more party-centric, importance of proximity to your college, etc.). The earlier you get your $25 fee paid and app processed gives you a better chance of getting your higher ranked dorm and room type. The $25 is non-refundable, but it’s definitely worth the investment if you think there’s any chance you’ll attend U of Minn.

If you are thinking at all about going to UMN, I would send in my housing deposit. Starting is April last year, they said they couldn’t guarantee housing. If needed they would put you in temporary housing, such as 4 people in a room that is the lounge etc. To avoid this, I’d send in the deposit.
