Housing Change Request

So I'm an incoming freshman at UCLA and I've been assigned a triple plaza room in Sunset Village. But I'm not really naturally outgoing and I want a more social environment, so I'd really like to get a triple room in any of the residence halls.

I filed a request of housing change, but I got an email yesterday saying they were unable to take my request. Is there any other possible options I can take to switch from Sunset to a triple residence hall?

i would like to know this too. i'm stuck at hitch suites.

i doubt there's an easy way to do this though

I don't think it's possible anymore until winter qtr
I did not make any housing changes and ucla still sent me the "housing status" email today.

lol same situation here

I got a triple sunset and wanna change to triple res hall. sigh

You waited too long for the request ..... wait until a quarter has passed and cross your fingers that you'll get it.

if you are a naturally outgoing person it won't be too depressing
you'll meet people in other dorms

from my experience courtside had several very social pockets...
delta terrace has a lot of transfers (that goes for all of sunset village though)
canyon point had this strange huge door on the 3rd or 4th floor that lead to the roof...soo wanted the key...but i suppose if you lived there you could very easily climb out your window onto the roof, and have a great sunset view

i lived in sunset village, and at the beginning of the year it was very social, and other dorms weren't much better (dykstra is a huge exception: always people fluttering around, hedrick summit was sooooo quiet, reiber hall was about average, hitch is scary)
the main problem in sunset village is that the volume of people just isnt as dense as the residential halls + the transfer population quiets things down

but in sunset village, i went stir crazy by the end of the year...i wanted out
