Wow..I'm in a triple with a shared bath, which is what I tried to avoid getting by putting a plaza as my first choice. But, they put me in a plaza with these amenities (rieber terrace). Does anybody know if its possible to like, get them to change it? If not, does anybody have any good news about rieber terrace?

Rieber Terrace is a plaza... and shared bath isn't too terrible. It's two rooms connected by a bathroom so it's not you sharing with the entire floor. But, the good news is, if you're very unhappy, you can submit an appeal (or whatever its called) to hopefully get into a plaza w/a private bath. However, the bad news, is that you will most likely still be in a triple no matter what building you end up in.

oh shared bath means bathroom btw two rooms? I had no idea..

Yup. And it's a lot cheaper than having a private bath! sigh If I could've only convinced my roomie into that instead of De Neve again...

How many first years get only one roommate, do you know?

I'm not sure exactly on numbers but what I do know, from being a housing tour guide, is that this year the majority of the incoming first-years will be in triples.

wow milesguidon, you're pretty lucky already... reiber terrance is the newest building. I wish I got put there... haha.

Rieber Terrance is pretty much all suites... you're not sharing the bathroom with so many people. Don't worry about it, don't complain, I was there when they built that building everyday, it took a lot of putting up with it to get buy. Good luck with it all, I'm drunk.

yesss a triple! just what i wanted! haha not really...that's what my parents wanted...it's about 2 thousand dollars cheaper than a double.

yea i thought about the housing they gave me and its not really that bad. When i made the thread i was under the impression that shared bathroom meant one shared with the whole floor (plus its a new building, so thats a plus)
