Housing Confusion

I applied for housing today at FSU and I'm a little confused as to what I do next. I printed out my contract and paid for everything online but I don't know if I need to mail the physical contract to them. If I do, I can't find the address to do so. Can anyone help me out?

Oh yeah, and my priority number is 4,835... is that bad?

Nope. Don’t mail anything.

Yeah… sorry. I saw some posts from last year with people who had priority numbers in the 2000s and they didn’t get into any of their 4 choices.

Oh, I don’t care about getting into my choices, I just care about actually having a dorm. I applied so late, I was worried that I wouldn’t even get one.

Well some people haven’t even been admitted yet, so I’d say you have a good shot.

if youre under 18 then you need to print out the agreement and have a parent sign it. then you need to mail it in within 10 days, or they cancel the contract. but if youre 18 or over, you dont need to worry about it

I wasn’t 18 when I applied back in September but I’m 18 now… so I guess I don’t have to?

if you were under 18 then, you needed to send it in. I would call and see if its still valid, after 10 days they cancelled it if you were under 18

If you are 18 the day you applied for housing, then you do NOT need to send in a hard copy with a parent’s signature. Your number is not horrible. Good you got a number before they release the next set of acceptances.

Of of 4834 ahead of you, some did not pay in time and lost their number (it is not reassigned, they just go to the next number) and at least 1000 or more of those numbers are students who will decide to go elsewhere based on acceptances they got later in the process. Those who applied late and will not hear until two weeks from now will have the lowest priority.
