housing continuing student?

i will be a sophomore next yr
i want to live either in the university owned apartments or manzanita village
will housing be guaranteed?
if i dont get it where will i live?
thanks

Housing isn’t guaranteed, but between Santa Ynez, El Dorado, Westgate, Manzanita Village, and San Rafael, you’re very likely to get something. Out of the ~5,000 people living on campus (in dorms), roughly 1/5 of that has been continuing students for the last couple years - I know Manzanita has far more upperclassmen than it did before.

If you don’t get any of those, you can always move out to IV like the vast majority of continuing students.

Don’t freak, you will definitely get in. I’m back in the dorms this year (San Raf and it is AMAZING) and I was in the same situation as you last year and I was scared I wouldn’t get any housing from the school. It turned out that last year they didn’t even have enough people to apply for housing and advertised that there was more space. Don’t worry, you’ll get in.

what are the chances of getting a triple?
and im interested in a LLC, what are my chacnes of getting to live in one?

Getting a triple as a sophomore? I can’t say I’ve ever heard of that. (If you are looking to be around a lot of people, there are suites with up to 8 people.) The level of tripled rooms has been going down ever since it peaked at the beginning of the last school year.

I don’t believe there are any LLCs in San Rafael, so I guess you’d have a shot at the ones that are in Manzanita Village - I recall there being a list at the front desk at De Anza a while back (check your front desk as well). They don’t move around that much, so you could probably just ask your RA about it, too.
