Does cancelling your Housing Contract mean paying an additional $200, or just not getting the $200 deposit back? Also, which off-campus apartments would you recommend? Like which ones are close to campus, not outrageously expensive and not horrible places to live either lol?

Anybody…? D;

I kind of want to know this too because I’m going to look at off campus apartments tomorrow with my roommate but I think as long as you cancel before May 1st then they just don’t give you the $200 but I’m not entirely sure.

Hey, I just canceled my contract for Summer B. You don’t have to pay an extra $200, you just don’t get it back. I’m not sure what happens after May 1st though!

Does anyone know if you are guaranteed the ability to cancel your contract for Summer and Fall as long as you do it before May 1st?

also check out [University of Florida Off Campus Life](http://www.offcampus.ufl.edu) for the official UF Dept. of Off Campus Life. They are a great help!
