<p>I got an email today offering me supplemental housing. I've already signed a lease for off campus housing because I didn't think I would get on campus housing and I didn't want to wait too long to sign a lease.</p>
<p>On the "what i owe" page it says I owe $300. Do I have to pay this? I can't accept on campus housing now, but I also don't have $300.. It just doesn't seem right to me that I have to pay $300. For what??</p>

<p>The 300 is the advance payment for housing. Anyone that is offered and takes the contract must pay it or be waived out of paying it. Seeing as how you won’t be living on-campus, it shouldn’t apply to you. Not taking the contract should take it out of your “what I owe” list. </p>
