Got South Quad!!! I guess the wait was worth it for me! 
Congrats! It was re-opened last year and the dinner hall there is great.

@carlsandburgsr. What do you know about South Quad? Are you excited because it’s ABN? (Anywhere but North) or are there specific things about it you like? My kid is on central in a different Quad.
I have heard great things about the dining hall there, and basically the residence hall’s location is great too so there’s not really any cons in my opinion. @maya54 . If your child is in West Quad its practically the same as South Quad, it’s just you have to leave to eat at South Quad’s dining hall but as a plus you can easily get food at the Union and there is AC. As far as East Quad, that’s an awesome residence hall too but their dining hall is only open for limited hours which kinda sucks, albeit minutely, in my opinion.
@carlsandburgsr Great news and congratulations! What a long process for you to go through, which is very unfortunate. As you indicated, however, you at least received an excellent assignment after the wait. Good luck with everything.
