<p>I got a double suite in CK. So is it really socially dead like they say it is???</p>
<p>beargal...compared to unit 1 and unit 2....unit 3 isn't up to the par...it's MUCH older. oh well...it's only for a semester!</p>

<p>i lived in a CKC triple last year and like most of you guys with that contract, i definitely didn't want it. but give it a chance. i seriously fell in love with my building and it was so much fun. the triples are HUGE (with the exception of a few first floors)...we put all three beds down and still had plenty of room. i think ckc is a good middle ground between units and foothill in socialness. the rooms are further apart but theres definitely your quieter floors and your louder floors. the socialness is basically however social you want to be. ckc triples are not as bad as they sound so don't fret :)</p>

<p>HAHA... that lightened it. I was really <em>ed too since i got quad bowles. Im still saying *</em> *** ***, but eh i guess we dont have to stay in the dorms. at all.</p>
<p>True, you guys can (and probably should) find off-campus housing for better living conditions and way cheaper. Know that they do guarantee you a spot in the dorms for your second year, so you can always come back then.</p>

<p>yay, unit 1 double! most of my friends got their 1st or 2nd choices, so i was thinking that the lottery system isn't so bad until i came on here. now i just feel REALLY lucky.</p>
<p>misspicaroon, the triple I saw on Cal Day was in Unit 1 and it was big enough for 3 people. It is the same size room as a double but there was enough floorspace so you wouldn't have to crawl over anyone. Only 2 closets though and I seem to remember they are only about 4ft wide each. Triples had a dresser though. It will be okay, I don't think a lot of people spend time in their room except to sleep.</p>

<p>um, unit 1 and unit 2 are EXACTLY the same, besides for the fact that unit 2 is a block further.</p>
<p>It's more of a personal reason actually...due to some people I know from HS joining me...</p>
<p>But I was and am already aware of that.</p>

<p>same here...i have Unit 1 triple...and i put DOUBLE for allll of them..that means i didnt even get my 5th choice! =/</p>
