Housing costs

I'm confused about the housing rate for UCB residence hall housing. In my finanacial package, it says that UG dorm housing year is $24000. Also I checked out in the website, it says that ave cost for hall housing is $13000, but I dunno whether it is yearly cost or semester cost. If it is semester cost, I presume that it is TOO expensive. In UCD, it would cost like only $11,000 per a year. Is really dorm costs $24,000 for one year??

$13000 is the yearly rate.

$13000 per semester would be overkill.

OnlyOne: The $24,000 refers to the undergraduate budget if you're a student living in the residence halls. This $24,000 includes tuition, student fees, textbooks, travel, residence hall cost, and miscellanous personal expenses.

I think the cost for hall housing depends on the particular type of room you have.
