OK, so on Oasis it says the estimated total cost of attending USC is $53,768. This includes the room and board, but it doesn't specify which building, such as Fluor, New, Arts/Humanities, which all have different costs (some being way more expensive per semester). When they give an estimate for the cost of room and board, which dorm do they have in mind?

I’m not 100% sure but I think they use the least expensive housing option as well as the least expensive meal plan option to calculate that number.

I am cutting and pasting this from another thread FYI.

Your financial aid is being calculated for the cheapest dorm option. If you opt to live in one of the more expensive dorms the difference between that and the cheapest option will not be covered by financial aid because it isn’t part of the Cost of Attendance. The difference isn’t HUGE but it does add up a bit. You can offset it by being more frugal in other areas though.
