<p>I live in Cali and I mailed in my housing deposit last Tuesday. I know it was due on the 1st, and I knew the mail would get there in time (3 days max). That being said, the deposit still says it has not been received. Does that mean it has not been processed or what? I'm stressing out about this! D= Please help.</p>

<p>My experience with my son’s housing deposit was that it took the NYU office a little lag time between receiving the check and confirming the check had been received. I recall it might have been 1-2 weeks before we received final confirmation of NYU receipt of payment from the time we sent out the check.</p>
<p>Have you thought about calling the office since you are in the west coast (I think)? The time difference means the NYU office should still be open.</p>
<p>I had called for my son and received phone confirmation before my son’s account was updated.</p>
