<p>So, can current students comment on housing options at VT? Any experience with the engineering housing themes (Hypatia/Galileo)? Honors housing? Are freshman put together in one dorm or are they spread out?</p>

<p>normal dorms aren't as bad as some make it to be-- people are really cool in the normal dorms, stuff always going on, people playing videogames, etc. the only thing i hate about it is sharing a bathroom, which usually isn't terrible. mostly sanitary.</p>
<p>theme- i heard the wing is stupid. rlc was a bad experience-- there are some really awesome people and the suites can be really cool because you can chill in the living room area, but it can be almost like high school and many of those that live in this building are introverted geeks. </p>
<p>freshman can be paired with freshman (usually) but many get sophomores and others too.</p>
<p>but i'll be living off campus next year because i'd like to have my own bathroom and a place to really relax.</p>
