Housing for freshmen

Hey I was just admitted the other day and I was wondering what are the best housing options for freshmen?

If you got into Honors College, University Heights is a nice place to live. If not, it really comes down to your liking but in the end, you don’t get to really choose. They will randomly assign.

Redstone if you like nicer dorms but you live literally miles away from your classes.
Central Campus has crap dorms but you are 1 minute away from your classes and the library.
Trinity Campus sucks and is so far away from everything else.

athletic campus and L/L are pretty good places to live. i live at harris/millis and i like that the dining hall is right inside my building! and the hall is built riot free, so you won’t have crazy people shouting down the hall and waking you up at 2 am in the morning. and it’s a about 10 minutes from classes, which gives me good daily exercise.

L/L is a suite dorm. and they’re about the same distance as h/m is from central campus.
you could also apply to the green house program and you get to live in a similar building as the hcoll.

welcome to uvm!

^ Agreed, Athletic is probably the best area to be in. It is close enough to everything.
