Housing for Next Year

<p>I know it's hard to starting thinking about next year already, but I noticed that returning students can apply for 2010-2011 housing on Nov. 1st. That seems right around the corner!</p>

<p>*Nov. 1 - Residents may begin applying for housing by using the on line application. Please note that your housing priority was set the first year you lived on campus. Applying early will not improve your housing priority. *</p>

<p>Am I reading correctly that priority will be given according to when a student was actually admitted to UT, or is it based on when we sent in the housing deposit?</p>

<p>Actually it’s when you paid your $50 housing application fee.</p>

<p>Really? They use the freshmen year deposit date to determine the priority for sophomores, juniors and seniors? That seems odd to me, but thanks!</p>

<p>I think most people just re-request their same rooms again. At least that is what most of my friends did.</p>

<p>Among second year students who choose to live on campus, it is not uncommon for a pair of roommates to choose the room that one or the other (or both) of them had the year before.</p>
