Housing for Pharmacy

Where do most pharmacy freshman live?

From the Rutgers website:
ALL NEWLY-ADMITTED (pharmacy) STUDENTS WHO APPLY FOR HOUSING
ARE URGED TO REQUEST HOUSING
ON THE BUSCH OR LIVINGSTON CAMPUS

They will be opening new dorms on Busch and I think they have allotted a certain percentage of rooms for pharmacy students. The biggest factor for getting your choice of campus is to apply early: submit your housing deposit as soon as housing opens.

i think they have a living-learning community on livingston, but busch would probably be the most ideal location because most of your classes would be there.

and definitely apply for housing the day the application process starts!

Actually your classes for freshman year can be all over the place. Expos, calc, psych is offered everywhere, but intro to experimentation and chem that you will be placed in are definitely on Livingston. Bio is on Busch. Pharmacy Convocations at 8:55 am is on Busch. When you start your 3rd year, all your classes will be on Busch and you really should live on Busch by then. If you ever want to live elsewhere, freshman year and maybe sophomore year is the chance to do it.

Does anybody know any more info about the new Busch/Livingston dorms they are building-- I can’t really find anything. I know that if you apply early it is more likely you will get your choice of campus, but would this also increase your chances of being put into a new dorm?

When you apply for housing (for freshman year), you will be able to indicate that you want to be put into the New Busch Science Building (living-learning dorm), provided that you have received acceptance to Pharm school, Engineering, or Arts and Sciences.

Oh I see, thank you!

No problem.
The housing form has already come out.
