I just decided to go to UMN and I have no idea where I'm going to live next year. I've been to the off campus housing website (apparently most transfers live off campus), and there aren't too many listings of places to live. Almost all of them seem to be grad students looking for female roommates with no overnight guests etc. Are there any other transfers out there having more luck with off campus housing? Any suggestions for where to look would be great. Also, if anyone is looking for a roommate I would be very happy to talk to you.

you can always try craigslist and look for an apt near campus

I’m a fan of [Apartments.com | Find Apartments for Rent, Houses, Condos and Townhomes | Rental Listings](http://www.apartments.com)

Craigslist is definitely a great place to check out. There are a lot of places near campus that are still listed. That being said, some transfer students also join the transfer student living and learning community in on-campus housing, which is called “Leaders in Transition.”

I’m not sure if it’s too late to apply, but it’s worth a shot, if you’re interested.
