I’m thinking about transferring to Pitt but I don’t like that transfer students aren’t guaranteed housing. I don’t want to live off-campus when I don’t know anyone. Does anyone know of a transfer student to Pitt who DID get university housing? or - a recommendation on where to live if I do transfer? Thanks!
Most undergrads who do not live on campus live in the South Oakland area. The housing office may be able to hook you up with with people looking for roommates/housemates. The North Oakland neighborhood is nicer but it is harder for undergrads to live there. You might want to post on the Pitt forum on this website as well.
