I got accepted into the honors college and I know honor students live in Juniper. However I kinda wanted to be in coed by room so I could have more of a variety of people. any suggestions?

Co-ed by room? Juniper is Co-ed by floor and single gender by suite. That’s probably the best you are going to get. I don’t think I know of any college that is going to mix guys and girls in the same room.

I’ve heard of a few schools that do that (None of them being in Florida that I know of though), and I’m almost positive USF won’t allow that, unless you’re in married/family housing.

to clear up the confusion, i meant a room of girls next to a room of guys…not mix guys and girls in the same room. My brother goes to UD and they do it that way there. But i’m pretty sure I’m just going to apply to Juniper because I heard its like the nicest dorms

Oh okay, well then Juniper does that. Within that suite (the 2 rooms and bathroom) its all girls, but the next suite over will be all guys or all girls, it just depends how they got assigned.

“The hall is single gender by suite and co-ed by floor” - Taken straight from the housing.usf.edu site

Ok, thanks for the help!

No problem.
