Housing Help

What is a Dbl apt (1BR/LR/kit), Double (2BR) ? This is in Rodin, does the first one mean there’s only one room, but it has a living room/kitchen while the second one is two rooms sharing a bathroom in b/w? and how difficult is it for freshmen to get into a highrise?

Sorry i know it sounds silly, but just wanted to make sure.

bumpppppppppp

You are correct. The room layouts are on the online housing application. Based on the housing brochure they send admits, there are 100+ freshmen in Harnwell and Harrison, each. There are less than 100 freshmen in Rodin. I don't know how difficult it is to get in to the highrises.

In all the high rises, 2BR = two single bedrooms, hallway closet, and bathroom. 1BR/LR/kit = one double bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen (with fridge provided).

There are very few of both room types available for freshmen (something like only 6 2BR), so if you're cool with a 3BR Quad, definitely apply for those as your top choices if you want to get into the high rises at all.
