housing/ID 2013

Where is the housing survey located online for the class of 2013? And I also don’t know where to send in pictures for the IDs. If you could help, I would appreciate it.

That’s the housing survey, due in about 3.5 weeks.

I’m not sure about the pictures for the ID (I know mine wasn’t sent in at this time), so I’ll leave that to someone else.

thanks! and also, do you know when we are supposed to start selecting classes? I have heard info about summer reading already.

You select classes after you get to Brown and meet with your advisor/meiklejohn. If I were you I would just read the course catalog, read the caps/fys courses and try to see if you can come up with some kind of plan. If you are planning to get a ScB it is very important that you look at all the required courses for your concentration.

You definitely should have gotten 2 packages in the mail, both explaining the upcoming process. One should arrive within a few days if it hasn’t.

If you haven’t gotten this information, and a package with a bunch of envelopes, and a booklet explaining deadlines and class selection, then you should call someone at Brown.

Re: Course selection. At some point over the summer, you will be asked to fill out a form listing your current choices for courses, which your adviser will see beforehand. It’s not binding or a contract, but it makes things easier later on if you’ve given it some thought. But you aren’t going to be able to actually register until 1 or 2 days before classes begin once you’re on campus and have received your PIN for the term. You will need a PIN from your adviser the first 3 semesters, and it changes each term (a way to ensure you do actually meet with your adviser).
