<p>Where's the best place to live in SUNY Purchase? And no, I don't want to live in a freshman building, I'll be a transfer student from a 2 year college.</p>
<p>My daughter lives in Fort Awesome. It is nice and she has her own bathroom in her room (hotel style). She was a transfer in January and that is where she was placed. There is also a Starbucks right downstairs with a good size lounge area. Good Luck.</p>
<p>Alumni Village is probably the best place to live if you are looking for the most modern dorms but it is kind of out of the way from everything. The Old is the center of social life on campus for upper classmen and has the best location, although the apartments there aren’t in the best condition.</p>
