Have any other incoming freshmen not received their housing info yet? I haven’t gotten anything about housing and I’m getting worried that I won’t really have a choice of where to live.

Anyone???

My son received an email with information about applying for housing. He did not receive anything in regular snail mail. His deadline was May 21.

I would check your osu email account and/or check the housing section on osu’s website using your account. If neither of those work, I’d call right away so you don’t miss out on housing.

Good luck.

Not to worry you but definitely call admission in OSU. My DS sent his $100 deposit and acceptance to OSU on April 30 last year. He had not received his housing within two so we called admissions. They said to wait until June 1. When he called; admisions had no record of him sending in his deposit. We freaked out especially since all of his merit money was dependent on him accepting by May 1. Luckily we had taken a picture of him putting the envelope in the mailbox which was date and time stamped. Admission was also convinced because we had called with two weeks and they had a record of the phone call. Admissions had to talk to merit money office to explain it was admissions’ fault and that DS should get his merit money. We overnighted a second check and sure enough at the end of June the first check showed up in admissions. It had been lost somewhere on OSU campus since the postmark showed April 30.

Call admissions right away; check if your deposit was cashed and confirm any merit money you were award will be received.

Yeah, I sent in my $100 acceptance fee on April 29th, and within about two weeks I was able to start my housing. I didn’t get anything in the mail, but I just went to housing.osu.edu/contract and was able to access it. I think I also got an e-mail to my OSU e-mail account a few days later.
