Does anybody know the earliest time for the move-in time on September 19th? I already called housing 3 times asking other questions, so I'm afraid to bother them any more haha.

i believe its 6pm...where are you suppose to go to pick your key if you live on riber?????

last year, for the keys, i believe there's a line by the doors to rieber hall, the doors leading out to rieber court. you won't miss it!

also...that friday, if i'm scheduled to move in 7-9pm, would they turn me down if i move in 6 pm? and they'll def turn me down if i try to move in fri AM?

^ i say u just go to your scheduled time...u had a chance to change it i think on the housing assignment website...

my time is 9:00am friday the 19th

no they won't turn you down.... you can actually move in anytime you want (after move-in officially starts, that is). You aren't officially restricted by your assigned move-in time. The times are just there to help the move-in assistants and alleviate parking issues so its helpful if people stick to the plan, but they won't prevent you from checking-in or anything if you show up at a random time.

Personally, I would recommend moving in late at night (think midnight) so you avoid the big crowds and traffic. You won't get the big welcome and music and free food like during the day, but the trade-off is worth it. And then you can just wake up and wander around the next day to take advantage of the free food, with the benefit of already being moved in :D

I'm moving in at 8am on the 19th, and I'm not sure how much earlier they are going to get for that. Hope that helps.

hmm...perhaps i can show up right at 12am on friday? right when the clock strikes 12? i thought they ran out of options to change the time cuz the time slots are limited. it's too late to change?

^ i believe sept 5 was the deadline
