Does anyone know how the Housing office contacts continuing students who applied for dorms regarding the housing decisions? Most people are saying it should be through email, but when I filled out the application, it told us to pay particular attention to our contact info (including mailing address) because that's how they would contact us regarding the housing decisions...

And when exactly is "mid-March?" I've been checking an empty mailbox almost daily and I'm getting sick of it.

The notifications should be out by tomorrow (Monday) in your email.

Nothing yet...

Where did you hear this?

They should be out by now.

They are out. It's in my email. And I heard about it because the director told me.

Got it. Foothill double again...my last preference. Sigh

i thought stuff from berkley was being sent out on the 30th

we're continuing students applying for housing....so our application is much earlier

whoops sorry didnt read the first post.

Do you guys know of any second years (with AP credit) who were able to get Channing-Bowditch apartments or single rooms in dorms?

no, i called about that....they only count the number of semesters you've been here for that

I know a sophomore Regents' scholar who did not get Wada Apartments (first choice), but got a double mini-suite (second choice). I mention this because there is some preferential treatment for Regents', but obv not entire deferment.

I got my first choice of a Unit 1 double mini-suite.

sweet - me too. Unit 1 mini-suite dbl.

Freeborn double, my first choice. Which is kinda odd because I'm living in a unit 1 mini-suite double right now as a freshman.

omg....me and my roommate got our 4th choice........unit 3 triple! omg.....it's gonna be so awkward with an extra person..

"no, i called about that....they only count the number of semesters you've been here for that"

I know, but do they really bother checking? I put junior standing because I didn't know that AP credits were invalid for housing purposes.

I got a Unit 1 double. It's an upgrade from Unit 2. Closer to campus. Thought I would've preferred a mini-suite. Just happy with what I have.

Unit 1 double mini-suite, again.

DRab - how has your experience living in the mini-suites been? It sounds like you're not terribly excited about living in there again. I really wanted to live there just because I'm so tired of living up here in Foothill. Hopefully my choice won't be a bad one.
