the towers contract starts in fall and goes through the next summer. so fall, spring, summer your in there. so everyone from last year will still have the towers you want. go with Nike/Herc 4/2 apartment for closest thing over summer to towers

Mine was the same thing.

kyle did you choose lake claire for both terms? what were the options for summer?

Is the shared bedroom where 2 people share one room?

Also for people who got accepted in the Summer, are you guys in Summer B?

Well I already signed my agreement, so I guess there is no turning back lol. I just really hope I will be happy with my roommate and living situation.

I am summer b and yes they give you lake Claire for summer and fall for choices. Who’s going for lake Claire?

Lalily-Yes, every student who will be giving in summer will be starting Summer B term. I believe that’s freshmen only, whole the different terms might be for transfer students. Did anyone see if we get to pick our housing for summer (other then towers) or are they placing us in a certain dorm, as they usually do?

Kyle is Nike open for summer too?

Yes. I switched to Nike for both summer and fall today

They have always offered Towers housing for summer B in the past btw. If you want it you most likely can get it. Just call housing and ask. It is a separate contract than the Fall-Spring-Summer one and housing dosen’t know yet what is available since current residents have a month or two to decide if they are keeping their room or not. My neighbor’s son lived in Tower 2 summer B although he did have to MOVE between summer B and Fall, since he wasn’t assigned the same Tower room for the Fall contract.

That said, Towers is not as social in summer since a lot of the current residents pay for but don’t use their rooms. You would be better off socially with an apartment at Nike/Hercules (they are 4 single rooms to 2 bathrooms and are OPEN to freshman for summer only).

@seiclan

It only had shared room for UCF.

Now Kyle, but it will change in the spring. If you are someone you know is seriously interested in a single at Towers for summer B, ask the housing office when they will be offered (and they will be offered).

Is Libra opened for summer, or just Nike/Hercules? I’ll go with Nike/Hercules for summer, and Libra for fall.

Only for fall

For Summer, I put Nike/Hercules as my #1 and for Fall/Spring I put Lake Claire as my #1. I might not have wanted the dorming situation I wanted, but at least I save more money.

That’s true. I changed mine from Claire to Nike bc of price and I felt Nike was more “homey” I guess you could say.

I’ll choose Nike/Hercules for summer-then Libra for fall. I think I’ll put the deposit down on Sunday. Maybe Monday, as my ‘birthday present’ lol.

kyle i definitely get the homey feeling from nike and the tower style rooms because they look like actual rooms and not dorms with cinder blocks. plus, i read on a few websites that nike is probably the most social dorm-- more than libra. it may not be as close to classes as libra, but it’s definitely reasonable and literally RIGHT next to the pool!

oh and i thought this was interesting:

Best Dorms
Hercules
Knight’s Plaza (Towers)
Nike

Worst Dorms
Apollo

that was found on college ******* . com
