That is interesting. Thanks as!

no problem! the site is great and there are a BUNCH of student reviews and comments. I also read that the UCF football players live in Hercules while the soccer, basketball, and volleyball players live in lake claire.

^almost all atheletes live in towers now. Everyone complains about it (residents and athletes)

^^^ Really? That is interesting. In the past, the atheletes mostly lived in Tower 4. My daughter’s friend (who also lived in Tower 4) used to tell us funny anecdotes about being in the elevator with these HUGE guys (she is 5 ft tall)!

wow that sucks for them haha. seems like they don’t have a great opportunity to make friends other than their team mates

^haha except for the sick parties

^^I don’t think they have too much of a problem making friends lol

Ah, now I’m reconsidering Libra for fall. I didn’t think this would be such a hard choice! I’m really going to need to look at some reviews, because I need to find the best pick for me, personally. I just know that I will not pick towers, Apollo, or lake claire. It’s stuck, dead in the center, between Libra and nike/Hercules. Both of them have good locations, same price, etc. If only one held a really, overpowering positive factor over the other…

I really don’t care where I live as long as I get a room to myself, and maybe a kitchen.

Does anyone know how long the oncampus dorms will typically be available? i heard they go by pretty fast but i am waiting for a friend of mine to get accepted (i was able to convince someone here in VA to want to come to UCF by showing him the dorms and campus lol) and also hearing back from UF.

Housing can usually still be received all the way in March. There are still so many people that didn’t hear yet and that are doing the same thing. I myself am waiting for my friend, and many people may choose UF or FSU over UCF, so they won’t hold housing either.

Also, I really enjoy reading this thread. there are so many opinions and personalities that it makes me so excited for school! I’m all about meeting people and making friends, so feel free to message me Facebook etc (:

Ditto^

Everyone on this thread, as well as others, seem really nice. It’s really exciting to see the different kind of people I’ll come across. Much different then Illinois:)

Does anyone know when we will know where we will be housing? It says first come first serve, but do they only assign rooms on a certain date?

I could be completely wrong, but I dont think they make assignments until the deadline, because they can’t really make them if people are changing their preferences.

Thanks senior that’s what I believed. Just was making sure.

welcomeeee!

My d is starting summervand put Nike first. She wants to look into towers forvfall, but I don’t want to pay for the following summer. Does anyone know what students do who live there for all and spring only? My son lived in ake Claire and was just fair. The rooms are cinderblock old feeling and kitchen nit big t all.

I’ve already paid my dorms deposit and I’m not trying to look for a roommate but idk where to start. Should I make a topic here? What do you guys think?

I felt like this is a fairly interested way to find a roommate. However, I noticed that even though I’d get along great with certain female members on here, we don’t have the same housing preference, so it wouldn’t work out anyway. I’m just looking for them to randomly pick one.

Can you go through the rooming process and then later pick your preferred roomie? Or is it all done at once?
