<p>I'm registering for the parking permits, but I'm going to get a new car in the summer..
the problem is the application wants the car registration stuff now on the app..
I was wondering if i could change the car later on (along with the info)..</p>
<p>A friend of mine works for UCR’s computing services (been there part time as an undergrad and worked there ever since) he just told me that permits are never tied to a specific car at UCR.</p>
<p>We used to “share” permits all the time between friends and roommates so I don’t think it really matters. but I don’t see a problem if you got a new car and needed to swap info.</p>
<p>ohhhh thanks! but now i don’t think i’m going to take the car to riverside anymore. cos it’s going to be just sitting there… practically.
i heard the buses are free for ucr students. and plus the parking fee’s what 450/school year? that’s crazy!</p>
