Housing @ Penn for transfers

Penn has crappy housing policy that does not guarantee campus housing for transfers. I called the housing assignment office and was told i was the No. 110 on the waitlist...

i guess some people here might have the same problem. i am a SAS rising sophomore. wanted a female roommate. i am pretty neutral about everyhting, so as long as you do not have a habit of throwing raucause unannounce orgies in the room the night before big tests, we can get along very well. let me know if you have interest in rooming together. aaron_cybertime@hotmail.com

when did you submit your housing application?

I got into Sansom West as a sophmore transfer. It looks to be mostly for grad students and ppl but the apartments are huge. My double has 2 bedrooms a bathroom and a kitchen

dbdown: i too am a sophomore transfer to penn living in sansom west. i'll be on the 10th floor in a single. what dept. are you in? seas here. send me an i.m. mdford86 if you want to chat.

btw, i heard sansom east is all grad students and west has about 20-30% grad students, so it won't be as bad. plus i know some people in apartments who are sophomores like us. according to the people i know, it appears that sansom west is a good pick for undergraduates (in terms of living space, on campus utilities, and decent location, while still maintaining a degree of separation from freshmen/conventional on campus housing.

It looks like I'm on the 10th floor also, room 1020. I'll be in the college, although I'm transferring from the engineering program.

dbdown: are you on facebook?

yea i am. to find me search under advanced search for major "romance languages" and sansom place west for the dorm.

Hey guys, when did you'll get your housing assignments?

i heard about two weeks ago
