I’ve been accepted, and my Housing Phase II opened up on October 6th. I’m a big fan of A&M, but I’m being encouraged to wait to see what other schools say before registering for the NSC. However, I want to get the dorm I want at A&M before it’s gone. Did completing Phase I essentially “save my spot” when it comes to selecting the dorm I’d like, or would completing Phase II be necessary? In the case I end up deciding not to attend, would completing Phase II bound me to the university?
Thank you for all the help you guys have given me the past few months!
Completing Phase I is what “hold your spot in line” for actually choosing housing. You can go ahead and do Phase II, it does not really do anything for acceptance, NSC… it is just filling out a few preferences. You can still choose to go elsewhere, you just won’t get the $75 housing deposit back.
Congrats on the acceptance!!!
