I will be living in tower A this year, and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of how they arranged their rooms. I am kind of stuck on how i will be able to fit everything in their. i heard from people i met that their friends who went/go to pitt moved their beds and stuff. i just want enough room for our fridge, microwave and tv but right now im not sure how to fit it from what i saw at PittStart.
Thanks!

Son’s roommate had the fridge and microwave in the closet area. The tv was on his desk next to his laptop. He only had a 20" so it fit nicely. His footlocker and several big suitcases were stowed under his bed.

it’s not as hard to fit everything as you would think. if you have a microfridge or put your microwave on top of the fridge you can put it either in the closet or between the desk and the wall (the one that sticks out separating the closet from the rest of the room). we put our tv on the top shelf of on desk facing diagonally so yo can see it from both beds. my friends who had bigger tvs just put them on top of the dresser (you can either have it be 5 drawers high or put 2 of the drawers under the bed, which i think makes the room look more roomy) and if you raise the bed there’s enough storage room.

I think basically everyone puts the microwave ontop of the mini-fridge. It just makes sense (and saves space). We then put a tray with plates and stuff on top of the microwave so that everything was easily accessible/obvious.

This is exactly what I did, since I wasn’t using the top of my dresser for anything. It worked out really well.

In Sutherland, they have a countertop with a cabinet above and an empty space below which is shared space in the double. Didn’t dawn on me until we all left that it was probably the space for the fridge and micro. Nice that you could tuck that micro/fridge away from the main floor space. If anyone wants pics, I have some, pm me.
