Housing problem!

hi everyone i'm going to umich this fall and i just logged on to wolverine access for the first time cos i finally got my OTID and my uniq name after that.. well anyway i went to take a look at my unofficial transcript and it says there that i'm matriculated at residential college, although i never even said i wanted to go to the rc.. does anyone know why it's like this? is it because i never stated a preference for housing so they just put me in rc??
oh and is it too late to apply for housing right now and hope to get a room on central or hill??
please reply i'm really quite baffled about this
thanks in advance

It's probably just a mistake. Call the RC first and the Housing office second. It's not too late -- but I'd get your application in quick!

Hmm...yeah...the RC is an academic unit, so I'd call them and make sure that your not enrolled. Then I'd call housing and tell them that you don't want RC housing.

Just so you know, not all of east quad is RC housing, so don't get tripped up if it still says east quad.

Before you decide to change dorms you should know that East Quad has a good location. You don't have to be in the RC to live in East Quad.

I'd keep East Quad. You don't want to risk ending up on North Campus.

Yeah-stay in east quad

...but EQ is filled with crazy people!

Hmmmm.....crazy eh. I'LL SHOW YOU CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING ME YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no east quad is not filled with crazy people...i lived there, and though some people were weird, most were really cool

Alright, my housing options are as follows: Oxford (Hill-Central Area), Baits (North Campus) and Northwood 3 (North Campus). Assuming that I could get my first choice, would Baits be the best option for a new transfer like me?

kman: i haven't gotten my housing form back yet, but if I were given those 3 options, i'd definately choose Oxford. I hear living in north campus is a pain in the ass.

How is South Quad by reputation? I wanted to do Honors housing, which is in South Quad.
