Are you able to apply for housing before accepting and paying the $250 fee?
I'm asking because I'm worried I might not get the housing that I want because I'm waiting to find out from UF before I commit to any school.
Also, what are the pros/cons of the Nike/Hercules dorms? Those are the ones that I've had my eyes on.

No I’m pretty sure that you have to submit your enrollment deposit first. It should say on your myucf

UCF requires you to accept your admission (250 dollars) and pay a 250 dollar housing deposit also.

My son and two of his friends that were accepted were able to pay the housing deposit before paying the enrollment fee. I paid the housing deposit as soon as it became available, and I was confirmed before I even paid the enrollment fee.
