Housing question

Hello, my daughter is admitted for the 2018 class and we are struggling with the housing questions. Thought I'd come here to get some other opinions. The questions ask about smoking (which are a no-brainer), 'alcohol-free', and 'quiet'. Now, my daughter isn't a party animal (that I know of!), but she wants to have SOME fun and she's worried if she says 'yes' to quiet and alcohol-free that she'll end up with a roommate who studies all the time and never wants to go out. She's also worried if she says 'no' that she'll be with the non-stop party crowd.

Any advice??

You won’t be with a non-stop party crowd if you’re in general freshmen dorms. RC dorms (like those that house RCAH and LB) tend to be quieter than the general freshman dorms.

If she doesn’t want sub-free housing, just choose regular.

Fwiw, I didn’t smoke or drink really at all in undergrad and had no problems in the regular dorms.
