so, some dorms have communal bathrooms and showers, but by "communal," are the showers still divided into stalls? or are they just out in the open locker-room style? when i was younger i used to swim at homewood, so i've only seen their locker room showers.

The AMRs, the only housing with communal bathrooms, have stalls.

Pictures of the bathrooms in AMR are here:

the AMRs suck, go with building A and B or Wolman

AMRs have the best social atmosphere, hands down. Why else are the administration considering to build an AMR 3 on the baseball field and evacuating all the freshmens from Wolman into this new AMR 3 in the future?

Because....AMRs is the AMRs.

heh, my friend, who's a senior there, said the AMRs are only "social" because everyone is dying to get out of their dorms so badly.

not sure if i should believe him though xD

The AMRs do not suck as much as you think. I dreaded getting placed into AMR but I am here and I must say, it is not as bad as you think.

the AMRs are the oldest dorms on campus, they are terrible. Everyone who lives there tells everyone else it's more social so that they feel better about themselves for living in such crappy dorms.
