<p>Hi, so I filled out my housing app, personal information form, and contract with the statuses completed and payments received. Will they tell us later whether we got our first choice or not. and also when is the first day to move in? are dorm suites assigned or do we get to choose? oh and one more question: can all payments be made via zot billing account? like the dorm, insurance, etc. right now I only see fall tuition up. When do they tell us our dorm cost?</p>

<p>But just as a reminder, we get our information about rooms and roommates Labor Day weekend and move in days are Sept. 18-19, welcome week starts the 20th, and classes begin the 23rd. Dorm costs should be up before school starts, so within the month. Oh and also be sure not to forget to specify where the aid money goes after it’s disbursed.</p>

<p>dorm suites are assigned. i was in an all boys suite and while i wanted the co-ed (obvious as to why lol) it was the best suite in the hall WITHOUT A DOUBT lol. good times good times.</p>

<p>Your insurance is already combined with your “tuition”. Essentially, tuition at UCI is the same thing as registration fees, which are a bunch of things combined.</p>
<p>All your housing fees will come out as a separate account on zotbill. They will appear later in the Fall.</p>
<p>You should have already filled out your preferences when you applied for housing, (suite, roommates, etc).
I was in a co-ed suite, and it sucked. The all-male or all-female suites tend to have better bonding and more fun.</p>
<p>cool thanks for the input guys. Also, just to clarify. There are only two payments each quarter: the tuition(which include arc fees, insurance, etc) and the dorm payments(which include food)?</p>

<p>yup those are the only two payments. be sure to have paid tuition fees by the september 15th! if youre missing even a cent you lose all your classes. people like me sadly take advantage of that because theres always at least one person in a class you want who forgets to pay, so i stalk webreg as soon as fees are due, and if i see an opening for a class, i jump in lol</p>
