<p>I just finished sending in my housing app after paying the $50 dollar fee....buuut when or where do I get to select my dorm choices? I don't see the option anywhere.</p>
<p>After you accept admission, they’ll send you a housing contract and you’ll have to pay a 300 dollar advance payment… after all that’s done, you’ll be able to make your housing choices, but there’s no hurry to do all this if, say, you’re waiting on news from another university.</p>
<p>How long can I wait before I put myself in danger of not getting the dorms I want? </p>

<p>^I was wondering that too…I wanna see what other colleges I get into and then choose from there, but I also don’t want to end up in the worst dorm because others registered before me</p>
<p>Your priority for dorms is determined by when you paid your $50.00 housing application fee. After you get your housing contract and pay the $300 deposit you will be able to list your dorm preferences. You can change those choices until, I believe, May 1st. It does not change your priority status. The $300 is refundable until May 1st if you decide not to attend UT.</p>
<p>BottlecapBlues, so did you pay the $50 recently? I think we paid the $50 for my son in October. He put Whitis Court down as his first choice, but didn’t get it. They said they had a LONG waiting list. He ended up in Jester West, and likes it just fine.</p>
