Housing Questions

<p>i'm currently filling out the housing application and i have a few questions:</p>

<ol>
<li>can i update my housing preferences after i send in the application fee?</li>
<li>would it be pointless to put down birnkrant as an option (i am not a merit scholar)? Is URCB only one part/floor of Birnkrant, meaning that non-scholar recipients can live there?</li>
<li>this has probably been asked many times before, but would new/north be a good option for someone who is not planning on rushing? i am a very social person, but am not planning on going greek</li>
<li>i have lived in LA all my life, so i know what the weather is like, but is it a big negative not having A/C in your dorm?</li>

<li>yes- can change until mid May (check for specific date on housing website)</li>
<li>yes, waste of an option- all Birnkrant for S/M/T/P scholars</li>
<li>asked and answered numerous times by current students on other housing thread- use search forum function and find other threads to see their opinions</li>
<li>this has also been asked numerous times (use search again). D survived Birnkrant without AC, but was on a lower floor (worse on top floors). She’s not without AC this year and it was important to her. We have always had AC at home and use it. Other people she knows are just fine without it at USC.</li>
