Housing questions

Which dorms are considered the best for social outgoing types? i.e having really quiet rooms so you can study 24/7 isn't really a priority.

Also, I know it's first come first serve, however, do the dorms really get full quick? I'm thinking of submitting the SIR by the 25th and I'm afraid they will all be full by then. Help?

It's lottery.

But the website says first come first serve?

Does the website really say first come, first served??? Can you provide a link? Because everyone on CC is saying it's lottery.

Random lottery.

All residential halls, parts of Courtside, DeNeve-Cedar & Dogwood.

Dykstra has historically been considered the most social dorm.

And most of my friends say Hedrick is always loud and social.

boelter whatever parts of courtside it is, its definitely not c3

or c8

lkgjDrkgldrgm

if any part of deneve or sunset is social, thats because of the makeup of kids there this year. it could vary year by year.

if you want guaranteed social, the only place is a residence hall.

What Is Resident Hall?

housing.ucla.edu

go there...it has most of the info you need.

I didnt ask you to tell me what to do in that tone I was just hoping for advice, jeeze.

a residence hall is what most people have in their mind when they think "college dorm". tall buildings, large floors with many people, communal baths.

i didn't mean to offend you in anyway. however...the housing website is very useful. it even has pictures of dorms...prices...etc.

<a href="http://uclahousing.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/uclahousing.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php%5B/url%5D">http://uclahousing.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/uclahousing.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php</a> is very useful too.

The easiest way to get answers is probably to dig into ucla's official website or searching the threads. If that doesn't work then... post. :) But again.. i didn't mean to offend you.
