<p>I've been obsessively checking my housing page to see if my room mate/dorm has been posted yet. Today however, there was something new on the page. A check box that read: "If you'd like to be added to the waitlist for reassignment mark here." ... I mean, obviously reassignment means ... reassigned to housing different than the one you were originally signed up for. But why do they offer this? Under what circumstances would one require reassignment? How do they determine who receives reassignment? And can I get on this waitlist just in case I need it for some unforeseen reason and then get off it later? Weeeeird.</p>
