Housing Requesting Roomate different colleges

My daughter got into Roosevelt and her friend got into Warren. What happens if they request each other? Choice of college?

Unfortunately, only students in the same college can request each other as roommates. It is extremely difficult and quite a hassle to switch colleges just so that they both can room with each other. I highly recommend that your daughter should consider finding someone else (same gender) that got into the same college to room with or better yet, room with a random stranger so that she can meet new people and have new experiences.

Hope this helps :D

It’s not an option to request someone from a different college in the freshman residence halls. However, the 2nd year apartments have “multi-college housing”, which was located in Warren this year, and they can live together their 2nd year.

they will both live with strangers for a year and make new friends, expand their horizons, and if they are still really close the second year then they can live together at that time.

shouldnt be too bad
