Housing Selection Times

Which dorms fill up the fastest ? Assuming the worst, if I have the last pick time, do I have a good chance of getting a spot in Burke ?

I can’t say for sure, since my D had an early pick time and wanted honors housing, but I seem to recall kids who had late (not even last) pick times last year who posted about not being able to get into Burke.

If it’s the money that is keeping you from placing the deposit, with your EFC you may be able to get a waiver for the deposit. It’s definitely worth a phone call.

How does that work ?!

Undergraduate Admissions issues the housing fee waivers. If they grant one, you need to make the 5200 enrollment deposit plus a $25 non refundable housing deposit instead of $225. You would pay the rest in August, from your financial aid and scholarship money. Call them and see what information they need from you to receive a waiver.
